Tracy Peyton began working in theater and film in Wilmington, North Carolina where she managed to earn her Screen Actors’ Guild membership by the age of 12 and was an active part of a repertory company. By the age of 18, Tracy had performed in over 30 professional stage productions and was proud to be cast in two Made for Television movies, Gramps and The Rose Garden, in which she had the opportunity to play opposite Andy Griffith and Mary Tyler Moore.

After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Drama, Tracy’s favorite roles include Olga in Three Sisters at the Stella Adler Theatre (NYC), Conrad from Much Ado About Nothing at the Vineyard Playhouse, and the lead role in an independent film entitled Jerico Dies.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Tracy has produced and starred in Theresa Rebeck’s Sunday on the Rocks at LA’s Third Street Theater, has appeared in television shows and short films, and directed and starred in several ensemble pieces at Write Act Repertory Company in Hollywood.

Outside of the theater and film world, Tracy enjoys running her own bookkeeping company and is passionate about a children’s line of apparel that she recently launched with one of her longtime friends here in Los Angeles.

Miss Peyton is currently exploring her writing talents through development of a screenplay and an ongoing blog. She is ecstatic about being a part of CGETC and looks forward to expanding and combining all of her passions through such a creative and collaborative group.
